Sheikh Rashid was made the Interior Minister

After a reshuffle in the federal cabinet, Sheikh Rashid was removed from the railway ministry and made interior minister.
According to Express-News, a significant reshuffle has taken place in the federal cabinet, with Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid taking over railways’ ministry and being made interior minister. At the same time, his place has been given to the Ministry of Railways Azam Swati
Ejaz Shah has been given the post of Home Minister and has been given the post of Anti-Narcotics Minister. Earlier, the post of Drug Minister was held by Azam Swati.
On the other hand, a meeting of party leaders was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The country’s current political and economic situation was discussed.

Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was also met by Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and Federal Minister for Counter Narcotics Ejaz Shah. The prime minister also took the ministers into confidence over the recent cabinet reshuffle.

Railway Minister Azam Swati said that Railways’ portfolio is the biggest test of my life because I do not have as much experience in Railways as Sheikh Rashid. This is an important ministry. Imran Khan will fulfill his responsibilities wherever he says.
Sheikh Rashid thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that he would fulfill the prime minister’s expectations and fulfill his significant responsibility.
Earlier, Finance Advisor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh was given the portfolio of Federal Finance Minister, and sources said that after Hafeez Sheikh, Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood and Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan could also be made Federal Minister for six months.
